Once you have completed the domain lookup from the first step, now you need to purchase the domain. There are 2 ways to do this:
- You can buy the domain with hosting
- You can just buy the domain name

for all of your websites. They have excellent customer service. The domain purchase is normally active within minutes.
How Can I Register A Domain Name?
At this point, you need to know if you want hosting with the domain name. Providers, such as Register.com, will give you domain name for free if you sign up for their hosting. And, I must admit, most of the hosts are the same. If you are setting a pretty basic site, they you can register with Ipower or anyone else and be pretty safe. But, if you are going to be running a bunch of scripts, then do a little more research first.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE HOSTING, then use Register.com to manage all of the domains, and just change the DNS from within their control panel to the DNS of your servers. If all of this is just too confusing, we can help you get all of this done.
